IT WAS UP A STEEP PATH AND MY DAD LAID A CONCRETE PATH UP EACH SIDE. IF ANYONE CAN LET ME KNOW HOW ITS GETTING ON I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL! I HAVE NOTICED MANY CHANGES SINCE I WAS THERE, AND IT IS LOOKING GOOD. I REMEMEBR PLAYING IN THE BIG HUT DURING RAINY SUMMER DAYS - PLAYING DARTS AND TABLE TENNIS AND GENERALLY HAVING FANTASTIC SUMMERTIME HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS! THANKS |

| Comments: | I'm a member of Lakeland Outdoor Club which has a beautiful but exposed site at Haverigg and am waiting to become a member at Solway Outdoor Recreation Club here in Carlisle. It has a wonderful secluded wooded site not far from the City. Your Club site on the Island seems to be Idylic, woods, beach, seclusion and what a swimming pool!!
